I’m an English guy, marrying an Indonesian and so was introduced to Restaurant Central by her. The food is full of flavour and you have a choice of freshly cooked or canteen style, traditional Indonesian dishes. Either way I’ve never been disappointed, to the extent that when my partner is out of Doha, I still visit. The decor and ambience are basic but you get what you pay for, however the staff and food make up for this in abundance. If I want a posh restaurant I’ll go to one!! The price of the food is incredibly reasonable and if a restaurant is judged on anything it should be how busy it is and the kind of clientele it attracts. Restaurant Central is always busy and the Indonesian community in Doha use it continually, for me this speaks volumes and is why I visit so regularly. Thank you to the great staff and chefs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quite good for food quality and quite vast choices with affordable price too. Sate padang is a little bit quirky and the only downside is the location which is like slump area outside the restaurant

Authentic common Indonesian food, the same food and taste you would find in Indonesia.Small restaurant though, it could probably accommodate maximum 25 people. It is the place where you can eat pay then go. On Friday and Saturday It opens at 7 a.m., it serves breakfast with special street-food menu, finding parking space is a bit tricky.

Love this restaurant so so much. The best satay (goat or chicken) you could ever find in Doha. Grilled chicken is a must to try too. The food that’s already done is very authentic Indonesian food. Taste the same like back home. Place is small and always packed, but that’s better. If it’s big then maybe the taste won’t be that good. Not much air circulations, so after you dine-in, your body and clothes smells like kitchen, and that’s the art of dine-in there!

best price & place for everyday canteen.Recommend: Rice with fried hammour fish, mix with tempe oreg and coconut soup from tofu, dont forget the sambal

food all is tasty and really amazing. but only one i feel unsatisfied which is mie acih. its different taste from original. other that that it was perfect.

When i miss 'tempeh' or bakso i'll come here. They also sell raw tempeh for you to cook it at home. Bakso taste quite good for me. The soup didn't add much flavouring and spices, just plain meatball /beef taste, but just nice.Don't forget the famous 'teh botol' also can get it there.

One of few places where you can get Indonesian food. I will sub categorize the food towards indo-sundanese culinary branch which are less spicy and a bit sweet flavor. Asa keren iyeu review na, padahal ngacapruk teu puguh 😄😄.

Indonesia food is the best one with spicy sauce.Most food i like is Gulai Kambing. You may call for reservation to avoid not get place to sit.

Great food at great prices! This place is a proper gem in regards to getting a taste of culture. Well known by the Indonesians for their cheap food but good quality. Be sure to get there before 20:00 cause they can run out of choices.

Food was ok in general....The fried chicken is nice.Food sells out fast in the mornings of weekends.Better to call if wanna order more or prevent disappointment.Was not easy to communicate with them if you don’t speak their language.They all seemed very busy every time I am there.I had to wait to pay, watching them busy with their stuff.Price was good.
